The CARES Act, signed on March 27, 2020 allows for over-the-counter drugs and medicines to be purchased without a prescription.
It also adds menstrual care products as an eligible expense for reimbursement from an HSA, FSA or HRA. This change in eligibility is
effective 1/1/2020.
This data includes all items eligible under Internal Revenue Code section 213d but does not apply to all pre-tax plans.
